  1. Kia Ora Aryan, I hope you are having a groovy day!

My name is Eliza and I’m working as a blog commenter on the Summer Learning Journey this summer. Have you done the Summer Learning Journey before? I’m looking forward to reading your posts and the other bloggers' posts from the Ako Hiko cluster, over the next few weeks! If you want to know more about me, you can check out my blog.

Ka pai on creating a fantastic poster about Lorde - I like how you’ve used different shades of blue, it’s really effective and it’s great that you’ve used both pictures and writing - its more eye-catching that way. I see you’ve attributed the image you found too, that is fantastic work! Thanks for sharing those facts - did you know that Lorde has a net worth of $12 million dollars!?

Next time you make a poster, just check where you are putting your writing - it would’ve been easier to read if you’d put all the writing on top of the white background, instead of the blue background :)
I actually went to the same school as Lorde and we lived on the same street for a little while, she is one year younger than me. She is a really nice person and I remember her always being very talented at school. Do you have a favourite Lorde song?

I hope that you’ll keep blogging with us over the summer! Keep working on the teaser week activities and on the 16th of December you can start the Week 1 activities.

Thank you for blogging and keep up the great mahi!
    Eliza :)

  4. Hi my name is Yousuf from Waikowhai Primary School. I like how you added a photo of your work. Maybe next time you should put full stops at the end of your story and add more writing to it. I remember when I did the same thing before lock down and it was pretty fun! Thank you for sharing your blogs.
