hi there
we were learning about different types of waka and waka is the Maori word for canoe and the canoes that we were learning about are the raft the dugout canoe the outrigger canoe and the legendary Polynesian double hull canoe
now i will take all about the boats .
raft
A raft is like a boat but it is not . a raft is made of log tightly connected with a rope and ill stop now because I'm not d copying my 3 paged google document  any ways if you like to learn more then read the text down below

the raft is long and wide so it can  carry a LOT of stuff like cargo, bags of food , a tank of water, a diamond (if you find one or 60 ) people, just anything that can fit on the raft or light enough but there's a down fall big waves can wash all the things and animals on board

dugout canoe
a dugout canoe is a carved tree that's been  dugout hence the name, the dugout canoe has wall to stop the big waves but it can fall over and every one will drown and animals will swim if they know how to but if there in the middle of the ocean then they will fall into the deep ocean
